Leafs pick Nazim Kadri #7 overall

Well there were 4 players that I hoped the Leafs were going to draft. Schenn, Cowen, Kadri or Kane. I thought they were going to draft Cowen. Kadri did outplay Tavares in the playoffs, and was excellent at the WJC. Even though he grew up a Habs fan, it's nice to seem some "local" talent.



Aside from Schenn, looks like Burke got his man.
Burke says Kadri was always his top pick
